(Portland, Oregon) September 14, 2006: discover-e has proven itself once again, becoming Oregon’s Fastest-growing technology company. The Portland Business Journal, who ranks Oregon companies for it’s annual Leaders & Innovation in Technology edition, unveiled the top 25 companies at a banquet on September 14th. Winners and their rankings were kept secret until the event, which is followed by the release of the annual publication. Kevin Brooks, Director of Marketing, was on hand to accept the honor.

In it’s "Leaders & Innovation in Technology" edition, the Portland Business Journal ranks technology and software companies based on their gross revenues, growth rates and total employment over a 3-year period ending 2005. Coming in at just over 762% growth, and number one on the list, was discover-e.

Second on the list, and coming in with just over 567% growth, was Max-Viz, Inc, designers and marketers of enhanced vision systems for aircraft. Other companies on the list include Information Technology solution providers, semiconductor service providers, investment management software, and auction payment software. Each demonstrated 2005 revenues of between 3 and 33 million dollars.

This was not the first time that the Portland Business Journal has recognized discover-e for it’s tremendous growth. In June 2006, discover-e was awarded the 3rd Fastest-growing Privately held company in Oregon, in it’s annual Fastest-growing Private 100 edition. In that list, discover-e was the only software company to rank in the top 30.
