(Portland, OR) June 27, 2006: discover-e Legal has landed yet another distinction. The Portland Business Journal has named discover-e Legal as the 3rd Fastest-growing company in Oregon for 2006. Listed in a June 16, 2006 Private 100 special edition, the Portland Business Journal ranked privately held companies based on gross revenues, growth rates and total employment over a 3 year period ending 2005. Coming in at just over 762% growth, and 3rd on the list was discover-e.

Jason Derting, discover-e CEO, was on hand Thursday, June 15, 2006 along with Robert Oliver, discover-e President, at the awards ceremony when the honor was officially announced. The Portland Business Journal kept the actual winners and their ranking a secret until the night before the special addition would hit the streets.

discover-e was the only software company to rank within the top 30 of the Oregon’s Fastest-growing 100. The Top 10 list included such companies as real estate brokers, mortgage lenders, homebuilders, medical device makers and Internet domain name services. Coming in at number 37, ProSight, the next highest ranking of the three other software companies to make the list, recorded just over 122% growth over the same 3-year period.

The Portland Business Journal cited Derting as saying, “the speed, ease, and effectiveness of the discover-e software, along with ‘great people,’ helped to drive the company’s robust growth”.
