(Portland, Oregon) September 20, 2007: Former New Technologies, Inc. (NTI) CFO John Dethman has become the new CFO of discover-e Legal, LLC. discover-e is the provider of electronic data discovery software and services to the world’s largest law firms and corporations. 

The position as Chief Financial Officer replaces the position of Controller, which was the highest-level accounting position within the organization. The move marks a shift in the organizational strategy within the company as it seeks to further capitalize on its tremendous growth. “John joins us at a pivotal time and will lend his leadership, experience and discipline as we continue to grow”, say’s company founder and CEO Jason Derting.

John’s career spans over 36 years. He was a former audit partner with PriceWaterhouseCoopers for 10 years and a financial consultant for 6 years before joining New Technologies, Inc. where he worked in the dual role of Chief Operating Officer/Chief Financial Officer for 6 years. NTI provided computer forensics consulting, software and training to Fortune 500 companies, federal agencies, major accounting, and law firms.

John is married with four grown children and is a graduate of Oregon State University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Business.
