(Portland, Oregon) March 26, 2006:  discover-e Legal has announced the promotion of Joseph Derting to Business Product Development Manager.

As a Business Product Development Manager, Joseph will work with existing discover-e clients to maximize their efficiencies when using discover-e software and services. Joseph will continue to represent discover-e as an expert speaker in the area of electronic data discovery. In addition to these responsibilities, he will work with product teams to develop and launch future discover-e products and services.

Joseph was promoted from his role as Operations Manager. He joined the discover-e Legal team in 2001 and has functioned in a number of different capacities ranging from Production Manager, to Application Development Manager, to the Director of Training and Support.

Joseph has over eighteen years of technology experience and has been a pioneer in the development and implementation of electronic discovery application processes. Joseph brings an eclectic, artistic and creative energy to the position of Business Product Development Manager. Joseph graduated from the University of Washington School of Business, with concentrations in Information Systems and Marketing.
