Rob Oliver, Portland, OR

Rob has held several executive-level positions at discover-e since 2000.  During his first year as the Vice President of Operations, sales grew 145%.  Sales have continued to grow at that level each year with Rob’s guidance.  He has achieved this level of growth by developing and growing relationships with clients through partnering with like-kind businesses in other jurisdictions and by successfully entering the corporate record retention and legal data storage arenas.  His multi-faceted business strategy has directed the company’s outstanding growth and profitability.

Joshua Derting, Seattle, WA
Sr. Vice President of Sales


Joshua brings to discover-e Legal over 12 years of sales, marketing and business development experience, with a focus on telecommunications, technology and channel-based market development and distribution.

As the Senior Vice President of Sales, Joshua was tasked with the prospect of developing and implementing a global product deployment strategy. Joshua created the discover-e "Premier Partner Program" which provides the infrastructure where litigation support professionals can license and operate the full suite of discover-e software in their local production facilities. One of Joshua's responsibilities includes identifying and cultivating the Premier Partner network; which now includes a combination of over 150 litigation support companies, corporate legal departments and law firms, spanning major markets throughout the United States, Canada and the United Kingdom.

Jeff Henry, Chicago, IL
Regional VP - Northeast/Midwest

Jeff has been active in the field of litigation support and document management as a vendor and software consultant since 1994. 

Prior to coming on board with discover-e Legal, Jeff was National Sales Manager with IPRO Tech, Inc. where he specialized in strategic positioning and sales.  At IPRO, Jeff worked on generating and developing relationships with Litigation Service Vendors. Jeff and his wife, Tara have two beautiful daughters. Jeff received a BA in Communications and Marketing from Purdue University.

Rob Reid, Atlanta, GA
Regional VP - Southeast

Rob Reid has over 12 years of experience in the Litigation Support Industry.  He was a top sales producer for IKON leading the Southeast Region in revenue and sales growth in 1998 as well as playing an instrumental part in landing a National Contract with Brown & Williamson Tobacco Company.  Most recently, he was a partner and VP of Business Development with Summit Document Services, who is a discover-e certified Premier Partner with 5 U.S. facilities.

Andrew Batman, Portland, OR
Regional VP

Andrew brings to discover-e strong technical sales and consulting talent. Prior to joining the discover-e team, Andrew provided consulting services to some of the largest law firms and corporations in the world concerning E-Commerce evidence and general computer forensics issues. He was also able to provide software tools and advisory services to military and intelligence agencies & DOD contractors in computer security risk identification and the elimination of such risks. Andrew has Formal Computer Forensics Expert Witness training from Tsongas Litigation Consulting, Inc. and holds a Computer Forensics Certification from Oregon State University.

VP of Production Operations

Joseph Derting has over sixteen years of technology experience and has been a pioneer in the development and implementation of electronic discovery application processes. In his current role as Operations Manager, Joseph brings together the wealth of knowledge and experience acquired in his former roles at discover-e: Director of Application Development, Electronic Discovery Production Manager, Business Application Development Manager and Director of Training & Technical Support.

Joseph is a certified Concordance Trainer, a Dataflight Certified Software Trainer, a certified iCONECT Administrator, a Certified Forensic Professional and a Certified discover-e trainer.

David Hanika, Seattle, WA
Technology Sales Consultant

David joined discover-e in 2006 and quickly rose in leadership and was awarded Rising Star Award.

Prior to joining discover-e, David was a top producing Sales Executive for a leading provider of comprehensive information and business solutions to the legal industry. David has a military background and served in the US Navy during the Gulf War.

Mark Myers, Seattle, WA
Director of Coding

As Director of Coding, Mark focuses on developing the company’s existing line of coding services within the domestic market. Mark is responsible for business development as well as product development, working in conjunction with Account Managers to define business requirements and product specifications.

Myers joined the discover-e team in 2004 as an Operations Manager for the Seattle office. He received recognition as ‘Employee of the Year’ for both 2005 and 2006 and was later promoted to General Manager.
