With 2012 marking our 15th anniversary, we are excited to announce the continued evolution and innovation taking place at discover-e, starting with a name change: discover-e Legal is now Novitas Data.

Joining Novitas as Chief Strategy Officer is Rob Miller, former Discovery Counsel for British Petroleum. While serving as BP's Discovery Counsel, he assisted with the development and oversight of many of BP's discovery and preservation strategies in the United States, and also provided governance for and oversight of discovery-related initiatives in the United Kingdom and a number of other international jurisdictions.

A frequent speaker on defensible discovery practices and the leveraging of technology, Rob is a Sedona Conference member and has served on the Civil Justice Reform Groups E-Discovery Subcommittee. Prior to his work at BP, Rob  was a commercial litigator with a prestigious law firm in Houston, Texas and also served as in-house counsel for a top-tier e-discovery technology firm.
